🛒 What’s New in SAP Ariba Procurement Solutions? 🛒
Although some organizations have already started implementing SAP Ariba NextGen, it’s great to see SAP continuing to enhance the features of the CurrentGen platform.
Below are some of the new features and improvements introduced recently in the SAP Ariba 2605 release.
✅ SOURCE-2785: Ability to Select All Supplier Contacts in Guided Sourcing Events
This feature enables buyer users to have all supplier contacts selected by default when inviting supplier organizations to guided sourcing events. This eliminates the need to manually select each contact and streamlines the event creation process.
✅ SLP-2382: Ability to Restrict the Number of Commodity, Region, and Department Answers in the External Modular Questionnaire
This feature enables you to configure the maximum number of answers process initiators can add to Commodity, Region and Department questions in the external modular questionnaire.
✅ SCONTR-1563: Line Item ID Display in Contract Workspaces
This feature introduces a field to uniquely identify each line item in the Contract Line Items Document (CLID) within SAP Ariba Contracts. The new Id field appears in the line items table of the CLID in the contract workspace and remains unchanged throughout the contract lifecycle, including during amendments and revisions.
✅ PSS-355: Allow Event Content to be set to Zero Weight
With this feature, you can configure the event content to have zero weight such that it does not contribute to the overall score of the supplier. This feature introduces the Zero Weight toggle for event content. The toggle can be enabled when some questions (e.g., asking for contact information or additional comments) may be necessary, but their answers should not affect the supplier’s score. By marking them as zero-weight, these questions can be graded without impacting the total grade.
✅ BMAA-508: Support for Approving Contract Requests in the SAP Ariba Procurement Mobile App
Users can now use the SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app to approve contract requests created in the SAP Ariba web application. Previously, users had to sign in to the web application to approve such contract requests. As an approver, you can review key contract request details and approve or deny requests with comments directly within the mobile app.
