are some of the SAP Ariba Buying key features and improvements introduced in the latest SAP Ariba 2505 release in May 2025.

โœ… GUIDEB-1082: Support for Classification of Hazardous Materials
This feature ensures catalog items with hazardous materials display the symbols and codes for the types of hazardous materials present.

โœ… GUIDEB-1209: Support for Ad Hoc Vendors on Non-Catalog Requests
This feature enables users to create and submit non-catalog requests using ad hoc vendors in Guided Buying. Ad hoc vendors are suppliers added to the SAP Ariba Buying solution on an as-needed basis, without needing to onboard them in your system.

โœ… GUIDEB-304: Enhanced Supplier Search for Purchase Request Forms
With this feature, you can control which types of suppliers are available for non-catalog requests and line-item forms. When this feature is enabled, only qualified and preferred suppliers are available in non-catalog requests and line-item forms.

โœ… GUIDEB-1056: RFQs Support On-behalf-of by Company Code
Requests for quote (RFQs) in Guided Buying now support on-behalf-of by company code functionality.

โœ… GUIDEB-1250: Guided Buying Integration with WalkMe
The WalkMe Digital Adoption Platform is now available in Guided buying. Users can take advantage of easy-to-understand guidance powered by WalkMe. This feature is optional for this release. In a future release, SAP Ariba plans to turn it on for all customers.
